Letters to the editor will be published without charge as space permits. They must be signed and include an address and phone number so the letter’s authenticity may be confirmed. Names will not be withheld. The subject matter cannot deal with personalities.

Letters must be kept at reasonable length, and we reserve the right to condense or edit letters without changing their meaning.

Letters thanking private individuals will be published only as paid advertising. Thank-yous to the community at large will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
